We don’t need to re-hash how the 2014 season ended, but let’s just say the Seattle Seahawks are very close to where they need to be to win another Super Bowl. Pete Carroll has built this team on the back of several very successful draft picks, and he’ll be looking to select the next batch of future stars this year. Who are the Seahawks targeting in the draft?
OL Laken Tomlinson, Duke
Seattle need to upgrade their offensive line was elevated when they traded Max Unger to the Saints, but they now don't have a first round pick. Tomlinson is the best second-round offensive line prospect, and he would fit in as a skilled, intelligent player who should be able to start right away as a rookie and have a long career.
CB Ifo Ekpre-Olamu, Oregon
Seattle needs someone who can replace Byron Maxwell in the secondary, and Ekpre-Olamu could be that guy. He was the unquestioned top corner in the draft before he tore his ACL, which has dropped his stock out of the first round. As a result, Seattle could get a steal by nabbing a much-needed, starting-caliber cornerback in the second round.
WR Justin Hardy, ECU
Jimmy Graham will immediately upgrade Seattle's passing attack, but their receiving core still needs help. Hardy, the NCAA’s all-time leader in receptions, could immediately step in on the outside, and his reliability would allow the Seahawks to use Graham as a deep threat more.
