The NFL schedule for next season has just been released, so here are the three biggest match-ups for the Seattle Seahawks heading into their 2014 schedule:
Sunday, September 21st vs. Denver Broncos
A 45-8 drubbing can cause a grudge for the team on the losing end. When it happens in the Super Bowl, look out.
The Seahawks host the Broncos in a Super Bowl rematch that will be one of the most talked about contests of the 2014 NFL season. The Seahawks can re-stake their claim as the NFL's top dog by dominating the Broncos once again -- this time with the 12th Man screaming behind them.
Sunday, October 26th at Carolina Panthers
The Seahawks head back to Carolina for a rematch of their 12-7 victory in Week 1 last season over the Panthers in Charlotte.
Cam Newton vs. Russell Wilson makes this a must-see tilt between two NFC championship teams who could find themselves revisiting this contest come playoff time. The defending champion Seahawks will have a target on their backs heading down south, and can solidify their standing with a convincing road win.
Sunday, December 14th vs. San Francisco 49ers
It doesn't get any bigger or better than this. Seahawks vs. 49ers. The 12th Man looking to remind the 49ers of their failures in the 2014 NFC Championship game. The 49ers looking for redemption.
While the Seahawks and 49ers don't have as storied of a rivalry as say, Cowboys vs. Redskins, the hate and intensity is there. This game is made for national television. WHY IS NOT ON IT?
