Seahawks QB Russell Wilson just won the Super Bowl, but it looks like he won't have much time off to enjoy his success. The 25-year old plans to report for Spring Training on February 16th, where he'll join up with the Texas Rangers (who acquired him via the Rule 5 Draft back in December).
Super Bowl champ (and infielder) Russell Wilson still plans to appear at @Rangers spring training, per his baseball agent, Mark Rodgers.

Wilson was originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 41st round of the 2007 draft, but elected to attend NC State to play football instead. The dual-threat QB was selected once again in the fourth round of the 2010 draft by the Colorado Rockies, and played two years of single-A ball with Rockies affiliates in Tri-City and Asheville.
The Seahawks stormed to victory over the Broncos on Sunday, winning 43-8 in one of the most one-sided Super Bowls in recent memory. Wilson completed 18 of 25 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns on the night.
