In today's Seahawks news and rumors update, it looks as if the defending Super Bowl champions are already providing the rest of the NFC West with plenty to go after heading into the 2014 NFL season.
This could prove tricky in the eyes of KING 5 News writer Tim Booth. Booth cautions that "NFC West depth goes beyond just the Seahawks. The four teams combined to go 42-22 a year ago, the best of any division, and could be that good again."
All five of the teams come with their own set of questions heading into the year, not the least of which being the target now squarely between the shoulder blades of the Seahawks.
"They're good, they're the defending champs. They're in our division, there's a lot of motivation there," San Francisco's Justin Smith stated.
That "motivation" will extend throughout an NFC West full of explosive offenses and improving defenses. However, if the Seahawks can deftly tiptoe through the minefield, they could very well be on their way to a second Lombardi Trophy.
