The Seattle Seahawks shocked the NFL world on Friday when they traded wide receiver Percy Harvin to the New York Jets for what amounts to be a conditional mid-round draft pick.
According to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report, the Harvin deal might be a symbol of something he's been hearing about all season long:
I have been hearing since March that #Seahawks locker room is oddly tense. Not sure if this is proof of that, but it's out there.

Per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, starting quarterback Russell Wilson was struggling with the "stress" of having to feed a star like Harvin passes even when better options might have been available.
Whether all of this was the impetus for the Harvin trade is perhaps besides the point. If the Seattle Seahawks can get back to their winning ways through October and the rest of the season, perhaps the point will be moot as well.
