Friday's shocking trade which sent wide receiver Percy Harvin from the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks to the New York Jets has raised a ton of questions about Harvin's short stay in the Pacific Northwest.
Per a source cited by Lance Zierlein of Sports Talk 790 in Houston, Harvin's short temper was the main reason for his exit from Seattle:
Heard “anger management” had quite a bit to do w/ Harvin’s departure in Seattle. (1/2)

In fact, that anger reportedly manifested itself into altercations with teammates, including now-Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate:
History of confrontations w/ teammates contd in SEA according to my guy including punching G Tate during SB week & near fight w/ #3 in ‘14 — Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) October 17, 2014
Per Zierlein's source, that resulted in a black eye for Tate:
I was told “Go find a team picture from Super Bowl and you can still see part of the black eye Tate got from Harvin" — Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) October 17, 2014
In short, Harvin's troubles with his temper was reportedly a major ongoing issue in the Seahawks' locker room:
I was told “Harvin’s anger issues are just too much to deal with and he could single handedly bring down team chemistry”. Wow. Unreal.

Even unnamed NFL personnel guys felt it necessary to chime in about how one-sided this deal was for the Seahawks:
Here are two tweets I just got from NFL personnel guys: “Literally heard minutes ago what you tweeted. Crazy. Jets didn’t do their homework"
— Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) October 17, 2014
Also got this text minutes ago: “Seattle just suckered the Jets. That GM is clueless”. Yikes. — Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) October 17, 2014
Probably most telling text I received regarding Harvin trade:, "Time bomb. If Pete gets rid of a guy, your radar better be on high alert"

Stay tuned as we are sure this is not the last you will hear of this very complex and strange story.
