The Seattle Seahawks positioned themselves for an NFC West crown with a victory over the Cardinals on Sunday night.
The defense smothered the Cardinals offense, who was down to Ryan Lindley at quarterback, while Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and Luke Willson had huge games to help Seattle blowout the Cardinals.
Turning Point: Seattle took their first lead of the night on an 8o yard touchdown from Wilson to tight end Luke Willson midway through the second quarter.
One of two huge plays of the night for Seattle gave them a lead they would retain for the rest of the game against a Cardinals offense who struggled to get anything going.
Key Stat: Arizona gained just 29 rushing yards on 15 attempts, an average of 1.9 yards per rush.
Seahawks MVP: Russell Wilson - 20/31 for 339 yards and two passing touchdowns, 88 yards rushing and one touchdown
Cardinals MVP: There wasn't anyone on the Arizona side with a noteworthy performance. Michael Floyd had 41 yards receiving on two catches to lead the Cardinals, but his impact was minimal in the outcome.
