The Seattle Seahawks finished 9-7 this past season and have holes that need to be filled for a playoff push in 2018. Seattle's defense has been its strength for many years, but after a few injuries this past season they were forced to rely on the offense. The Seahawks have only $14.8 million in cap space entering 2018, which means some likely cuts to big-name players are coming. Here are the four moves the Seahawks need to make to be in the playoffs next season.

1.) Improve The Offensive Line
The Seahawks have arguably the worst offensive line in the entire NFL and it's going to result in their franchise quarterback Russell Wilson getting injured. They need to sign at least one offensive lineman this off-season and select at least one in the 2018 NFL draft. Protecting and improving the running game needs to be the main focuses this off-season.
2.) Draft A Cornerback Or Safety
The Seahawks could easily cut CBs Richard Sherman and Jeremy Lane this off-season. In fact, I think they should cut both of them to save some money in 2018. Plus, Kam Chancellor suffered a major injury to his neck at the end of November and may not be the same player going forward. This means the Seattle defense will need to reload on defense and draft a cornerback or safety. In Mel Kiper's first Mock Draft he has the Seahawks selecting Derwin James, S, Florida State. I think this would be a great pick because of the versatility that James possesses.

3.) Find A Reliable Running Back
The Seahawks had four rushing touchdowns last season and three of them came from their quarterback. The team has dealt with plenty of injuries at the position last year losing Thomas Rawls, C.J. Prosise, Eddie Lacy, and Chris Carson for parts of the season. The Seahawks either need to draft a running back or one of those running backs above need to emerge as a reliable starter.
4.) Don't Re-sign Jimmy Graham
Tight end Jimmy Graham will turn 32 this off-season and he made $10 million in 2017. He is coming off a season where he had 57 receptions, 520 yards, and 10 touchdowns. This was the first year Graham had double-digit touchdowns with Seattle, but had his lowest amount of receiving yards since his rookie season. It doesn't make sense to pay the kind of money he'll demand in free agency considering his age and his inability to block. Saving the money will allow the team to address bigger needs on offense and defense.
