The 3-4 Seattle Seahawks are fresh off an easy win over the San Francisco 49ers and now face a reeling 2-4 Dallas Cowboys team. Without QB Tony Romo, the Cowboys have lost four straight games. The Seahawks will make that five straight this weekend. Here are three reasons why the Seahawks will blow out the Cowboys.
3. Better Running Game
Darren McFadden is coming off a monster game for Dallas, but that came against a poor New York Giants run defense. Even with McFadden's game, the Cowboys are still behind Seattle in rushing yards per game. The Seahawks are averaging a whopping 143 yards per game on the ground, the second most in the NFL. They've done that despite not having Marshawn Lynch for several games this season. The Cowboys have a good run defense, but it won't be enough to slow the Seahawks' ground game. The Seahawks will run the ball all over Dallas en route to a win.
2. Better QB
Wilson is vastly superior to Matt Cassel and it's not even close. Wilson does much more for his team, both on the ground and in the air. The Seahawks' offensive line has struggled this season, but Wilson has improvised and found ways to make plays. He's completing 70 percent of his passes, and although he's thrown five interceptions, he's the biggest reason for Seattle's offensive success. Wilson will make the plays that Cassel simply can't and Wilson will lead to an easy Seattle win.
1. Seahawks' Secondary
The Seahawks should have a field day against Cassel, who threw three INTs against the Giants. Cassel's arm strength looked borderline non-existent, as he floated far too many passes. If Brandon Meriweather and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie can record three picks, imagine what Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman will do against Cassel. Even if Dez Bryant returns, he's not going to be effective enough to save the Cowboys' passing game. The Seahawks will force at least three Cassel turnovers, resulting in a blow out win for Seattle.
