The 4-4 Seattle Seahawks host the 6-2 Arizona Cardinals in a game with major NFC West implications. Seattle is favored by three points and Vegas is right to make the Seahawks the favorites. Here are three reasons why the Seahawks will CRUSH the Cardinals.
3. Russell Wilson
Despite a shoddy offensive line, Wilson has managed to make play after play this season. He's used his running ability to his advantage and he's big reason the Seahawks have the wins they do. Wilson needs to improve in the red zone, but he's still be a solid QB this season. With Wilson at QB, Seattle won't lose this game.
2. Great Defense
The Seahawks' defense has been great in recent weeks. Seattle is giving up the second-fewest points per game, only .1 points behind the first place Denver Broncos. They have a Top 10 run defense and the second-best pass defense. The Cardinals have put up plenty of points this season, but they haven't played a defense as deadly as Seattle's. Behind the Legion of Boom, the Seahawks will defeat the Cardinals.
1. Arizona Is Overrated
There, I said it. The Cardinals may be 6-2, but they haven't beaten anyone. Their wins have come against the Bears, 49ers, Lions, Ravens and Browns. Those are some of the worst teams in the NFL. The Cardinals were unable to beat the Steelers or Rams, the only two above-average teams they've played. Arizona simply isn't as good as their record says, and the Seahawks will prove that when they crush the Cardinals.
