The Seattle Seahawks finished 9-7 this past season and have holes that need to be filled for a playoff push in 2018. Seattle's defense has been its strength for many years, but with a tricky cap situation, many within the organization feel that this offseason could be the end of an era as they part with some of their stars. As such, here are three big-name players they're looking to trade this offseason:
1) CB Richard Sherman
The Seahawks tried to trade cornerback Richard Sherman, who is recovering from a ruptured Achilles he suffered in Seattle's win over the Cardinals on Nov. 9, last offseason and will likely do so again. This shouldn't surprise anyone since he is coming off a major injury and set to make $13.2 million in 2018. However, other teams do have interest in a player of his caliber even though the injury did drive down his trade value. If the Seahawks don't trade him, expect Sherman to be cut.

2) DL Michael Bennett
Bennett openly thought that his time with the Seahawks was up after the season and there may be some logic behind that train of thought. He has a $5 million roster bonus on his contract this season before his deal sees a huge increase in base salary for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. There's certainly interest in him around the league, and if Seattle wants to get into a full rebuild, he's a guy who could bring in a quality draft pick or two.

3) FS Earl Thomas
Of the three, Thomas is the least likely to be dealt, but we can't ignore him vocalizing his desire to play for the Dallas Cowboys. Should Dallas decide to pursue a trade for one of the best safeties in the league, the Seahawks would get a sizable return for him, allowing them to retool their roster faster.
