William (Bill) Edgar Henderson, a longtime resident of Allen County, Ohio passed away on August 13, 2024 at the age of 78. Bill was born on July 6, 1946, in the small town of Old Washington in Guernsey County, Ohio to parents Edgar and Annabelle Henderson. On June 7, 1969 he married Patricia Baird and they shared 55 wonderful years together. Together they had two children, Lee and Amanda
Bill graduated from Old Washington High School before earning both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Sociology from Ohio University. He began his career in Allen County as the Extension Educator in 4-H Youth Development in 1971, a role he held until 1990 when he became the Northwest District 4-H Specialist until his retirement in 2002.
