WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) — Hundreds of people joined the beat at the Washington National Cathedral Tuesday night, as part of a series celebrating expression.
Drummers young and old gathered at the free event in the historic building, which opened its atrium for the impromptu community performance.
Rhythm instruments ranged from hand drums, bongos, to shakers and tambourines.
Others played wind instruments like didgeridoos, recorders, and clarinets while people chanted.
