ASHVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Despite warnings from the Department of Transportation, some drivers in Asheville, North Carolina braved the snowy weather on the roads Friday.
Monitoring the conditions in the Asheville area, WLOS reporter Lauren Brigman spoke with some of those daring drivers.
Brigman was reporting on the weather during the noon newscast when one driver accidentally demonstrated exactly why officials were telling people to stay off the roads.
Spinning out on live television, the driver ended up facing the other side of the road. Luckily, the spin out did not cause and accident and the driver was ultimately able to drive off in the right direction.
