Victory Laps - The Seattle Mariners and Victor Robles agree on two-year contract extension

The Seattle Mariners and outfielder Victor Robles have agreed upon a two-year contract extension that will pay Robles $9.75 million over the next two seasons in total, with reported incentives that could raise the deal by as much as $2 million. In addition, the deal includes a team option for 2027 valued at $9 million. The deal was first reported by Yancen Pujols and has since been echoed by local and national media.

Considering that Robles was designated for assignment and went unclaimed earlier this season, this is not only one of the most resounding successes for the Mariners in a short period of time as a player development group on the hitting side.
