FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (ABC7) —
A man was pulled over for driving with a dummy passenger in the HOV lanes on Interstate 66 in Fairfax County, Va., Tuesday afternoon, police report.
The lifelike-looking dummy, who was seated in the passenger seat with his seat belt on, was wearing a blonde wig and was dressed professionally.
Police say the driver was charged with violating the HOV Law, which can lead to a $125 fine or more.
Last Thursday in Dix Hills, New York, a woman faced similar charges for driving in the carpool lane with a dummy passenger who was wearing a baseball cap and even had a briefcase, authorities say.
