Elevated fastball? No kidding.

Just when you thought baseball couldn’t cook up another new stat, now comes word that 6-foot-4 Orioles slugger Mark Trumbo tomahawked a pitch that was 4.62 feet above the ground for a home run — an all-time high, so to speak, since Statcast started its pitch-tracking era in 2008.
