DENVER -- We're not sure if it was an escape from the blinding Colorado sun or an impromptu game of peek-a-boo but Mariners closer Fernando Rodney was the talk of Twitter after a mysterious jaunt into the "woods" behind the bullpen at Denver's Coors Field.
With the Mariners leading 3-0 in the top of the 6th in their Wednesday game against the Colorado Rockies, video screen captures posted across Twitter show Rodney picking up a chair and heading into a thicket of trees that are planted behind the outfield fence, and then plopping down to watch the game unfold from behind a large pine tree.
