Turn Back the Clock to 1984: Mariners vs. Cardinals When the St. Louis Cardinals come to Safeco Field for a weekend series June 24-25-26 against the Mariners, it will be just the second regular season trip to Seattle for the Cards. The Mariners won two of three games in 2002. The Saturday evening game (7:10 pm PT) will be Turn Back the Clock Night, and both teams will be wearing their 1984 uniforms. In the 1980’s, both teams played on Astroturf. And there will definitely be a 1984 theme throughout the ballpark.
