Since 1950, 300-plus NCAA Division I baseball programs start each spring with their sights on Omaha, Nebraska. The national tournament begins with 64 teams and is brought down to eight teams for the College World Series in Omaha. Once there, through a double-elimination tournament and a best 2-of-3 championship series, that season’s National Champion is crowned.
