At this point, it's still hard to figure out what to make of the Mariners' blazing hot start.
Yes, Seattle is 13-2. The dingers have come in bunches early in the season, and there's more excitement (and curiosity) around the club than there's been in years.
But it's also April. There's well over 100 games left in 2019. And the Mariners have disappointed before following hot starts.
So maybe cautious optimism is most appropriate if you're a fan.
