Zero. That’s how many games first baseman Evan White has played at first base in the Major Leagues. But that didn’t stop the Seattle Mariners from inking the Ohio native to a 6-year contract extension, with three club options, that could keep White in Seattle through 2028, this past November.
“Evan White stands out in so many ways,” Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto said the day of the signing.
