AUSTIN, Texas (KEYE) - A woman was arrested on Saturday for stealing candy from a central Austin grocery store, according to Austin Police.
According to an affidavit, on Feb. 20 a loss prevention officer observed 47-year-old Emma Navon Davis at the HEB located at 1000 E. 41st St. concealing bags of candy inside her black purse.
The report states Davis had 27 bags of candy in her purse, including, but not limited to:
- 2 bags of Hershey's bars
- 6 bags of Kit Kats
- 3 bags of Jolly Ranchers
- Miscellaneous bags of other candies, including Krackel, Sour Patch Kids, and Mr.
