TAIWAN -- It's definitely not your average church, but apparently this unique Cinderella-style glass slipper is attracting thousands of visitors who want it as the perfect backdrop to their fairy tale wedding.

Constructed in two months and to the tune of $686,000, the giant glass shoe building stands 55 feet tall by 36 feet wide, and is made up of about 320 tinted glass panels.

The romantic church will not hold ceremonies, and was reportedly built by Southwest Coast National Scenic Area officials in an effort to attract female tourists. Officials say it will be used as a venue and backdrop for couples pre-wedding photographs, which is a popular tradition in the country.
