Taijuan Walker pitches shutout in rehab start with Tacoma

In an injury rehab start, Mariners pitcher Taijuan Walker started for Tacoma and went 61/3 shutout innings, striking out two as the Rainiers won 6-4 at Nashville in a Pacific Coast League game Thursday night.

Walker allowed three hits and walked two.

First baseman Dan Vogelbach doubled and homered and is batting .296 with the Rainiers (72-53). He has 19 homers this season.

Nashville scored four runs in the ninth inning to make it interesting.

The AquaSox (33-26) had 14 hits, including five doubles, in their Northwest League win.
