NEW ORLEANS — Starter Donn Roach had a solid game for the Tacoma Rainiers, but got little offensive support in a 2-1 loss to the New Orleans Zephyrs in a Pacific Coast League game Sunday afternoon.
Roach allowed two runs — one earned — in seven innings, with one walk and four strikeouts.
Tacoma was limited to six hits. Shortstop Chris Taylor went 2 for 4 and was the only Rainier with multiple hits.
