Two Tacoma Rainiers have been named to the Triple-A All-Star Game. Outfielder Stefen Romero and right-handed pitcher Blake Parker have been elected to represent the PCL in the July 13 game in Charlotte, N.C.
Romero, 27, will start in the outfield. He is hitting .341 with 43 RBI through his first 57 games. Parker, 31, has been the Rainiers’ closer, converting 14 of 14 save opportunities while posting a 2.15 ERA.

Romero and Norichika Aoki each doubled but the Rainiers (44-35) lost to Las Vegas in a Pacific Coast League game before 6,986 at Cheney Stadium.
