The Seattle Mariners will end their 20-year run at Safeco Field following the 2018 season after announcing the team and Safeco Insurance would not renew their naming rights agreement for the stadium.
Thomas Wills, president and CEO of Bonham/Wills and Associates -- one of the world's leading sports and entertainment consulting firms -- said Tuesday he believes the Mariners' search for a new partner will be a quiet one that results in a long, lucrative deal, possibly from a local firm.
"It really depends on who in that marketplace are looking to make a big splash, but the Mariners are a great organization," Wills told SeattlePI.
