Earlier this offseason, Mariners Chairman and CEO John Stanton and Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto shared messages with season ticket holders. Now, we share some of those messages from Stanton and Dipoto with you.
The 2017 season was a rollercoaster for the Seattle Mariners. More than 40 percent of the club’s 162 games occurred during a winning streak or a winning streak of at least 4 games.
The up-and-down nature of the season was due in part to 16 different players being placed on the disabled list, which led to the Mariners using a club-record 61 players in 2017, including a club-record 40 pitchers.
