Sporcle Friday: Mariners with .900 OPS Seasons

Related Topics: Seattle Mariners, Sporcle

OPS, simply on-base percentage plus slugging percentage, is a fairly good indicator of a complete hitter. Getting on base often while also clubbing extra base hits with regularity means you will produce many runs for your team and make the city happy.

In the entirety of their existence, the Mariners have had 10 players post an OPS of .900 or better in a season where they made at least 300 plate appearances, though many of these men did it multiple times. The first one did not happen until their tenth season. From 2006-2014, it happened zero times.
