SEATTLE -- While Jerry Dipoto has made a multitude of moves this winter to bolster his club's long-term plans, the Mariners' general manager now has agreements in place with a pair of free agents - infielder Tim Beckham and right-handed reliever Cory Gearrin - to fill holes for the upcoming season.
Though the moves have not been announced by the Mariners, a source confirmed to MLB.com on Thursday that Beckham and Gearrin have agreed to one-year deals.
Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports the contract is for $1.75 million, with another $250,000 in incentives.
