It’s become an annual tradition of mistaken analysis. The past two seasons, I’ve asked coworkers, media colleagues, baseball analysts and one Twitter nuisance to make baseball predictions for each season.
In some ways, they are an exercise in futility because there really is no right way to do this. You can look at last season’s results, who the team added, how the team played in spring, study every detail and still be so very wrong.
