TACOMA — Former Mariners now with the Rainiers continued their hot hitting as Tacoma posted a 6-1 victory over Salt Lake in Pacific Coast League baseball Monday.
Shawn O’Malley had two hits, including a triple, and now is hitting .333 for Tacoma (13-11). Chris Taylor had a two-run homer in the first inning and also is hitting .333.
Adrian Sampson (3-1, 2.67 ERA) limited the Bees (15-10) to one earned run in seven innings.
