Third baseman Seth Mejias-Brean went 3 for 5 to help the Tacoma Rainiers beat the New Orleans Baby Cakes 7-5 in a Pacific Coast League baseball game Sunday at the Shrine on Airline in Metairie, La.
Mejias-Brean extended his hitting streak to 10 games, tied for the longest on the team this year.
Cameron Perkins had two RBI for the Rainiers (53-54), who face New Orleans again at 5 p.m. PDT Monday.
Christian Bergman (7-8) was the winning pitcher. He went five innings, giving up three runs on six hits with four strikeouts and one walk.
