Segura sidelined with arm infection

NEW YORK -- Mariners shortstop Jean Segura, a driving force for the club all season, was sidelined for Thursday's series finale with the Yankees due to an infection in his right forearm.

"It was some kind of scratch or bug bite or pimple or whatever you want to call it, but it got infected and is pretty swollen and was bothering him a little bit yesterday," Mariners manager Scott Servais said. "He's on some antibiotics, so hopefully he'll be better in a day or two. But we have to be careful with it."
