Powder blue is the primary color of the team's spring training uniforms, a pastel blue that the Mariners said in a press release, "harkens back to the color scheme during the early years of the franchise (1977-1984) when road uniforms were light blue with gold and navy accents."
But it's not just the jerseys that are getting a makeover; the hats for spring training and batting practice throughout the season got restyled. For the first time since the throwback trident logo, an "M" will be embossed on the front of the cap, replacing the "S" and the baseball in the logo.
