The Seattle Mariners capped the second day of the Major League Baseball winter meetings Tuesday by trading minor-league pitcher Trey Cochran-Gill to the Oakland Athletics for reliever Evan Scribner.

General manager Jerry Dipoto announced the move in a press release. The Mariners 40-man roster is now full.

"Evan brings us another experienced Major League reliever who has exhibited strong control of the strike zone as well as the ability to miss bats," Mariners GM Jerry Dipoto said in a statement released by the club.
