Seattle Mariners first baseman Evan White and shortstop J.P. Crawford have been named 2020 Rawlings American League Gold Glove winners at their respective positions, Major League Baseball and the Rawlings Sporting Goods Company announced Tuesday night.
It marks the 12th time in franchise history that multiple Mariners have won Gold Gloves in the same year, the last time being in 2010 (Ichiro Suzuki, Franklin Gutierrez). White and Crawford are just the second pair of Ms infielders ever to win the award in the same year, too. Bret Boone and John Olerud were the first, doing so in back-to-back years (2002-03).
