Dan Altavilla who came up for the first time making his debut in 2016 with the Mariners was on the team’s roster when they played two games against the Oakland A’s in Tokyo, Japan in March was sent down to Tacoma after they returned to the states.
He made a couple of trips up to Seattle last year, but he only appeared in 17 games. In September, when he was called up for the expansion of the roster, he showed flashes of dominance on why he is still with the Mariners. Seattle is hoping he will be able to stay healthy in 2020 and play up to his talent.
