The Mariners host their first true home game the next day when they welcome the Chicago Cubs to the Peoria Sports Complex. The Mariners will host National League teams for several games throughout Spring Training, including the Los Angeles Dodgers on February 28 and the San Francisco Giants on March 2. On Monday, March 14, the Mariners will split their team for separate games against the Dodgers and the Texas Rangers.
In total, the Mariners are scheduled to play six games against American League West rivals, including the Rangers, Oakland A's and Los Angeles Angels.
The Mariners play another split squad day on March 22, seeing matchups with both A's at home in Peoria and the Kansas City Royals at their training facility in Surprise.
