Crawford, 26, earned his first Gold Glove with the Mariners last season and became just the second shortstop in club history to win a Gold Glove, joining Omar Vizquel (1993) . The former first-round pick appeared in 53 games in 2020, posting a .255/.366/.338 slash line with 11 extra-base hits, 24 RBIs and six stolen bases.
Acquired by Seattle in a trade with the Phillies in 2018, Crawford led AL shortstops in out of zone plays last season, and ranked second among them in defensive runs saved, defensive runs above average, ultimate zone rating and assists.
Murphy, 29, missed the entire 2020 season due to a foot injury.
