SANPETE COUNTY, Utah (KUTV) — Law enforcement officials are trying to put an end to a wild crime spree after four teens ran away from a behavioral treatment center in Sanpete County, stole two vehicles and sped off with the father of one of the boys on top of the car's hood, according to police.
The father of one of the teens heard that his son might be in the Magna area and went to look for him. The dad located the son and another boy early Tuesday morning and tried to talk to him when the boy jumped into a stolen vehicle and began leaving the parking lot of a gas station, according to Unified Police.
