The Tacoma Rainiers dropped their series finale to the Round Rock (Texas) Express 4-2 on Thursday night in a Pacific Coast League game.
Left fielder Ian Miller led the Rainiers (51-53), going 2 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI. It was his team-leading 25th multihit performance of the year. First baseman Cameron Perkins also had two hits.
Shawn Armstrong (1-4) took the loss after allowing two runs on three hits in the bottom of the eighth.
