When the news about Robinson Canó’s suspension broke, we in the LL Slack cycled through the stages of grief at varying speeds. I personally tweeted through denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Mostly, though, we’re all pretty depressed. What has started off as the most fun season in recent memory has suddenly come to a crashing, grinding halt, and the Mariners are going to need a huge collective effort to attempt to do the impossible: to replace the irreplaceable. We’re sad, and we understand you’re probably sad too.
