Robinson Canó has been named to the American League All-Star Team as an injury replacement, marking his 8th career selection and his 3rd with the Mariners. He will join teammate Nelson Cruz in the 88th Major League Baseball All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 11 at Marlins Park in Miami. This marks the 10th time in club history that the Mariners have had multiple position players selected to the Midsummer Classic (last: 2014, Canó and Kyle Seager).
