LONGVIEW, Wash. -- A Longview Police officer was hospitalized Tuesday after a cow ran over him, according to a report from The Longview Daily News.
Officials said an 800-pound cow escaped from the Cowlitz County Fairgrounds around 3:30 p.m., wandered around town and eventually became angry.
It charged out of the slough near Pacific Way and Pershing Way and into a police officer, leaving him with a leg injury, the Daily News reports.
The cow then went on a mini crime spree, almost ran over its owner, dented several patrol cars and ran into two civilian cars.
