Major League Baseball's winter meetings wrapped up from National Harbor, Maryland on Thursday, but that won't stop Mariners general manager Jerry Dipoto from making more moves to improve Seattle's chances of breaking its now 15-year playoff drought.
After all, Dipoto didn't wait until the meetings -- a hotbed for trades, free-agent signings and other "hot stove" offseason activities -- to start reshaping the M's roster in his second year in Seattle. The Mariners have engaged in a whopping seven trades since Nov. 1, the biggest of which sent away a former top pitching prospect in exchange for a leadoff hitter coming off a career season.
