Seth Mejias-Brean drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning as the Tacoma Rainiers rallied for a 5-3 victory Wednesday night over the Omaha Storm Chasers at Cheney Stadium.
Omaha’s Jack Lopez homered in the top of the eighth, tying the score at 3.
Mejias-Brean singled in Andrew Aplin and then scored on Danny Muno’s double.
Aplin hit two doubles and Mike Marjama also had a double and two hits for Tacoma (33-33), which was just 3 for 15 with runners in scoring position.
