The Tacoma Rainiers dropped their series finale to the Las Vegas 51s 5-2 on Thursday night in a Pacific Coast League game at Cheney Stadium.
Catcher David Freitas and second baseman Adam Law both finished the night 2 for 4 with a double to lead the Rainiers (41-39). Center fielder Andrew Aplin and left fielder Gordon Beckham each drove in a run.
Rainiers starting pitcher Christian Bergman (4-6) lasted just four innings. He allowed five runs on seven hits while walking one and striking out six.
