The Mariners go with another different lineup on Saturday with left-hander John Lamb getting the start for Cincinnati.
Seattle hasn’t seen many lefties of late, but they’ll face Lamb today and Rich Hill on Monday in Seattle. That means Dae-Ho Lee and Franklin Gutierrez get starts in the field and Nori Aoki starts the game on the bench for the second straight game. Aoki is actually a useful pinch hitter late in games and provides some speed on the basepaths.
Lee follows up with a start after his two-hit game on Friday night that included the decisive pinch-hit, two-run single and solo homer.
